Fr I want him one day to pull an entire conscious rap album out  because he clearly has the ability

don’t get me wrong it’s a great song
But justifying why he doesn’t go to church anymore and breaking down the Iraq war and crack epidemic are two different levels. Ones big picture ones little
Doesn't matter though
How much a dollar cost is about not giving a dollar to a homeless man that's as small issue as you get and that's still conscious rap
And it's more than just talking about why he doesn't go to church he's talking about the general state of religion currently as well as the way labels make slaves out of rappers
It's absolutely a conscious track regardless of the scope

But the projects had completely different goals

How can you listen to both and think the aim of the projects were remotely similar

ALLA was like an homage to the 90s while blending it with psychedelic rock and soul as well as modern rap in a tight cohesive project

Testing was just trying out completely new ideas for him
Yeah idk I found the songs to be a lot Trippier and better on ALLA. Handful of songs I still bump. Testing came and went fast. Plan on re visiting but I was super hype for the album and was kind of let down.

I guess the proper way to put it is he excuted the sound he was going for a lot better on ALLA imo

Yea can't say I disagree with that last point even though I liked testing a lot
