I see your undecided on the grad partner. I think it should be his mom. or his mom should be like a auto companion for the first 3 levels.

Then at the end of the grad level yall can maybe make a little sad cutscene with an 8 bit pinnochio story melody with her, Ya know... Dying. Just for emotional impact. Doesnt have to be her just dying either, it could be a metaphorical thing. Just for emotional impact.

Anyway her "death" should make a literal portal that kanye walks into maybe with a pokemon style menu thats like

"enter heartbreak?"

I think Donda won't be like a party member but kind of like an emotional push from the sidelines. I do like your cut scene idea.

You think 808s level design can look like the coldest winter vid? Dark blue hues in a dead leafless forest, ghosts and shit in the back. With again the 8 bit pinnochio story as a main thing, but if you guys are trying to have boss battles and enemy fights yall can have an 8 bit coldest winter on deck to ramp shit up when needed?

I think it should be a slow and reflective level though, like the album itself, but thats just me. MBDTF would be where shit gets crazy

EDIT: just read that you guys are set on an empty wintery street type thing. I think thats better disregard my level design idea lol.

Yeah your option thing leading up to the 808s an Heartbreak could add depth. Each level is gonna be a few sections each so one part definitely could look like the Coldest Winter video. 8 bit Pinnochio Story would be cool too. Thanks for the input.

I feel like this would work better like "Accept your mother's death" or something at the end of the 808s era.

Its not really accepting your mothers death in a healthy way yet. More like accepting thats shes dead and going through the grief and pain. Especially since ye thinks it was his fault that she died.

Imo the acceptance part wont come until the end of yeezus era.

And it would be alot happier, you guys want yeezus in a dark warehouse? Maybe kim and north could appear by the exit door at the end of the level. 


Then maybe Ye kim and north wal out the dark industrial area, making their way into the tlop forest. And if u interact with one of them before you start getting close,  the 8 bit only one piano chords can come in.

And you interact with the other one , a faded donda can walk besides you for the rest of the way,
And the song starts over fully formed with the melody of ye's verse and everything as you gradually walk out of the darkness into the light of the tlop forest.

When u guys make it to the exit point of the level to play the tlop forest it prolly wont be a portal but maybe a woody road or a path. and when u accept to go nori and kim give donda a hug and go on towards the path.

While kanye stares at her for a few seconds. Then you can finally interact with donda. She'll say 1 single sentence.

Then she fades away and ye continues to move forward onto the tlop forest.


I know ye has north and kim at the begginning of the yeezus era but this is just for the sake of the game lmao.
