Hey, Lit Like Bic Here: We're looking for coding help. Ideally, we need people with some experience in RPGMaker or game design in general. I definitely regret letting this project die for a couple of months, but we're looking to continue.

DEV PROGRESS WILL BE STREAMED AT: https://www.twitch.tv/garetare/ [Offline]

Hey KTT,
So we all know Kanye has been interested in video games for quite some time - from the amateur game he made that got him into music, to the Only One game, and naming his upcoming album Turbo Grafx 16. What if KTT worked together to make a videogame dedicated to Ye? This is probably our best shot at getting recognized as a forum of talented & artistic people by KANYE WEST himself!!! :fire: As originally proposed by Garetare and FreeNiggaArchetype, the project would be to create a RPG with each stage/level being inspired by each of Kanye's solo albums, using Ye's most iconic songs. The story can be based around his life, with some fictional elements, like incorporating ideas from the Runaway Short Film and other music videos.
This idea could be realized if the most creative and talented of KTT work together. Even more exciting: We could get this game to Ye and be recognized :banderas:

Each album would have a different location. there are 3 acts. here are my rough ideas:
CD - Set on the South Side of Chicago - Enemies: Struggle Rappers, Manager - Mentor: Jay Z
LR - Set in Chi/(Diamonds Music Video) - Enemies: "Gangster" Image Rappers - Ally: Lupe Fiasco
Grad - Set in Universe City/Neo Tokyo -Enemies: 50 Cent, Clouds, Mushroom monsters - Ally: T-Pain (Daft Punk?)
808's - Set in a empty city/winter landscape -Enemies: Ghosts, Robocops? - Ally: Cudi
MBDTF - Set in the Runaway Music Video -Enemies: Greek Titans, Mythological Creatures (T Swift Boss Battle?) - Ally: Pusha T
Yeezus - Set in a dark factory -Enemies: Robots(think the BLKKK SKKKN HD video) Attack Dogs/Wolves -Ally: Travis Scott (Chief Keef?)
TLOP - Set in a bright Forest-Enemies: Evil Spirits, Enemies from the past stages -Ally: Chance

FOR THIS IDEA TO EVEN TAKE OFF, WE NEED A DEDICATED TEAM OF HARD WORKERS. IF YOU KNOW ANY CREATIVE/TALENTED PEOPLE, LET THEM KNOW!!!

Let me know if you want to join. (Big S/O to garetare, FreeNiggaArchetype, and all of KTT)

You're all welcome to brainstorm ITT, we need all the help we can get :yejoice:

computer engineering is more of the physical side to technology, like designing gpu's, cpu's, motherboards, stuff like that. It also goes into some coding but not as much as a true computer science degree would.
thats cool, so it should be easier than a "pure" cs degree? also ive been stuck on 2+2=5 for weeks lmao i cant get pass it, gon listen to that album entirely eventually lol. this performance is better than any other live version or the album version itself imo.

besides having some sort of chiptune vst/add on how the fuck were you able to remake it? you know notes by ear? music theory knowledge needed? training on an instrument as well?
I am a trained musician and it definitely helps. software like melodyne can help you determine pitch but it is incredibly expensive and it doesn't work very well. Developing relative pitch makes transposing music much easier.

Well to have "perfect pitch", where you can instantly know what note it is, you need to be born with it. I would recommend taking some music theory lessons or classes. Thats where I learned relative pitch
