for showcase we should have an artist of the month

every month we put all the artists who put out new material in a poll and vote the artist of the month. same for graphic designers/producers

It's a good idea, but it wouldn't work out well because people will only vote for the members they like or know. Take for instance Criss Chords or Drew Beat. They were apart of kL and posting in cT before I joined May '08 and they still get little love when they're two of the better artists from cT.
Could work as long as people aren't biased.
This is actually a pretty cool idea. If people would follow through with it.

I think this is a great idea ... but the point of basing it on who is known rather than talent is a good point.
