I was listening to my ipod and was listening to a bunch of soundtracks and I am going to have a go at making a tape basically samplig a load of soundtracks. How is this for a start? I could really use some advice on how to improve the beat, as Im new to FL and sampling as a whole.
advice is greatly appreciated. Here we go:

Thanks man, Imma fiddle around with it and try get more stuff going on. The intro seems a bit detatched from the rest of the track still

Yeah first one off fl studio- Im pretty pleased with it, posted a half done version yesterday but its got a lot more going for it now. FL studio is brilliant. Where is your stuff?

it's decent, but gets boring after a while in my opinion.

it's by no means bad for a first try though.

Excellent first beat, IMO.  No beat is truly ever finished, so after sometime with making other beats, perhaps try coming back to it to see if you can flesh it out even more. 

And yes, FL Studio is awesome.

Yeah I know what you are saying, hopefully as I get better at FL I can come back to it and add bits cos I think the piano bit is solid.
