Just decided to play it again after it's release in 2001.. That's like 10 years.. Did anyone notice how long it's been.. This is like almost half my life ago.. I'm 21, and I just didn't notice it being so long ago..

Still though:

That music, those characters...

Yeah this and VII are my favorites. started playin VII when i was 7. Started playin X when i was 10. and yea im 21 too lol

Fun game, I beat it like twice. The final battle was kind of easy.

It's still an amazing game with a great soundtrack and easily the best love story ever told in a video game.

I don't agree on the whole hype around 7.
Even though it's a great game, especially around that time it was amazing, and characterwise also..
But the game isn't that great. I dislike the soundtrack, I dislike the way they put the game together.
To be really honest I think it's more hype and nostalgia then quality..
I like Final Fantasy 8 more than 7...

Tbh they did ruin the series.. After so many classics they release FF 12 that was meh and 13 that was almost all about them graphics and not much substance :sarc2:

Exacty.. Ow and you actually forgot the biggest blunder ever.. Like, FFX-2.. That was just humiliating..

And what's your thoughts on FFVIII ?
Like, for me it's #2 easily..

hahah yeah FF X-2 wasn't that good.. but at least they showed us that Tidus and Yuna reunited :cryfam:

(and seeing and playin with Yuna wasn't that bad, only the plot of that game was pretty bad)

And yeah, FF 8 is my second favorite. :h5:

And it was the first FF that I played so extra nostalgia for that game. Dat Lionheart :datass:

Edit: Btw I remember that FF 8 had a lot of epic and funny moments too... Great Game tbh

Hahaha, actually I don't know my first. It was either FF6 or FF8..
Which was dope too, but nothing stuck in my mind like FF8 and FF10.. That card game, that mission with the giant robot and all the summons..

I would say it could be argued the best overall story as well.

Enix didn't ruin the series. The JRPG itself has just gone downhill and been difficult to keep fresh in this era. Final Fantasy XII was still an awesome game. XIII had it's flaws but it wasn't terrible or anything.
