Was there over Christmas last year. Incredibly beautiful. I'll post some pics when I get the chance.
It's famous because it's situated in a valley and on either side are 500 foot walls with the Swiss alps also around. I remember the hostel I was staying at, the Valley Hostel. Went to the porch to have a smoke and I had an amazing view of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau.

EDIT: It's also extremely famous for people doing B.A.S.E. jumping which if you haven't seen/heard of, it's just amazing.
