If you installed the system again, sorry dog, shit's gone. But, as Pinhead Larry said, if you got a time machine backup, everything's fine. If not, get your music off your ipod if you have one, and try not to kill yourself.

I had a similar problem before but I was able to restore some files.

i lost everything, i had like 3000 pictures saved on my computer.. 4000 songs.. all gone.

i got the music back but no pictures, all my files from school.. my internship. everything
