Honestly we all need to have a mass conversation on race relations in America. We all need to learn to live togeter peacefully

This book would be a great way to start this discussion.

It's like only white and black people exist and white people are the villains and black people are heroes. I'm tired of this shit.

That book brings legitimate problems to the table but offers no legitimate solutions to said problems, and presents some of them in an intellectually dishonest way

Mass incarceration, fourth amendment violations, police brutality etc. are all problems that need to be dealt with but an actual solution and an objective view on the causes and effects is needed, and with the racial tension we have right now those are few and far between

Placing waaaaay too much blame on racism for certain problems and completely ignoring extraneous factors, in regards to mass incarceration she basically said cops patrol black areas more and target black people and the courts are racist and will more likely convict them and give longer sentences, called three strike laws racist etc.

While racism im sure plays a role in some of these, she never once mentioned iirc how poverty breeds crime in poor black majority areas and the increased crime is what gets more patrols, more arrests and more convictions. Same goes for many topics covered in the book

all lives matter (dont jump to conclusions) and black lives should be put on the same pedestal as the rest of the other races (for all you idiots that dont know what BLM means)
