I doubt there's that much people on there that are into comic books (I just got into them recently) so I wanted to make it part comics, part comic book movies. maybe turn some people onto comics that way. :D

So if you're into comics, what have you been reading lately? I just read the new issue of Punisher, #9 and it was alright. I think imma check out the new run of Daredevil and maybe check out Hack/Slash.

And if you are into comic book movies, what's your favorite one and which one are you most looking forward to? Watchmen has always been my favorite and of course, Dark Knight Rises is the one im most looking forward to.

As far as comics go, I'm mostly into Batman, The Punisher, and Action Comics (particularly the series with Doomsday and Preus... fucking EPIC).

But the GOAT comic book and all-time favorite...

Too bad the movie was straight ass. I'm check out the comics though.
Strong advice: Ex-nay on Punisher, Daredevil type stuff. Start the Preacher and Sandman books. Graphic novels. I've met about a dozen people that say it's the most badass shit ever. Google that shit.

HBO is apparently adapting The Dark Tower into a series, that will be amazing.

I like the OG superhero stuff though sir, but yeah, I'm looking to get into graphic novels.

Yeah, the movie was horseshit. I just hope Hollywood decides to hire Guillermo Del Toro or some shit to reboot it. And watch the HBO series too. It's freaking intense for a cartoon, pretty graphic.

Word, me too. Just wanted to throw those suggestions out there, it's so easy to overlook good comics because there are so many and most big chain bookstores only stock the really popular stuff.

The AV club did a great overview of their favorites from the 2000s here:

Between their actual list and some of the comments from people bitching about their favorites not being included..you have plenty of good stuff to choose from. I'm working my way through it also.
