College Dropout has to be listened to in order, in CD form, period.

Most of you are going to say well no fucking shit, same with LR, especially with those skits. But for all you mofos who got into Ye with Graduation and 808s (as I did) and went back and copped the old shit through torrents and media fire and shit, hell, even if you bought it on itunes, trust me when I say that's not the right way to do it. And you might say Timesitheus stop being such an uppity little bitch about it, it is all the same shit. No it isn't. For all you kids that went and downloaded CD's actual songs, ignoring the skits and shorter tracks, I am going to have to scold you a bit. In fact, if you reading this right now and have never listened to College Dropout in order on THE actual College Dropout compact disk from the store, go buy it right now. Ten bucks. Probably even cheaper if you get it on amazon or something.

But buy the CD. Because it is a story. "Oh man I already knew that yeah man I got into Kanye during 808s but shit I listened to his old stuff." But did you REALLY listen to it? Do you really get it when he says "Oh yeah, I got the perfect song for the kids to sing." on We Don't Care, and how that is relavent to the opening track? Or how that song ties in with the next song, and then the next song, and then All Falls Down, and then how I'll Fly Away perfectly opens up Spaceship? Don't fucking listen to CD as if it were a blur of songs and dumb skits. People say they don't like skits. That's because they seem fucking stupid outside the CONTEXT of the actual album!

I know most of you are like ok wtf is he rambling on about this time. But I know there are people out there who have been making the same mistake I have for two years now, admit it, you know it. Go and cop that masterpiece now, and you will appreciate it much more. Trust me. Just trust me.
