I'm not religious at all and can see how prayer can be important in someone's life but these payer hashtags are ridiculous.

You prayed for France a few months ago and now you're praying again. I guess it didn't work last time? It's for people who just want to put it out there that they're aware of the situation and to tell people that they're concerned

But most likely they don't pray

& lastly you praying for someone who clearly didn't prevent this attack (or many other attacks) to happen. It's this cycle of contradiction. We got to do more than just pray
