E.S. Posthumus' Unearthed

Many of you have heard a song or two from this fantastic (but underrated) album as Hollywood loves this band's work--most notably the 12th track off this masterpiece, "Pompeii." The L.A. group is known for mixing classical music and electronic elements to create a cinematic soundscape and many big-budget trailers have adapted it.
Kanye Wests' My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

Like many people on this forum, I oftentimes label this piece an 'instant classic.' Much like the title implies, this is West's album and here, his demons are put on display using a combination of orchestral production and boom-bop Hip-Hop.
Megadeth's Countdown to Extinction

Megadeth has a number of early hits in its discography, but when the band took their sociopolitical take on Heavy Metal mainstream, this is what came out; a take-no-prisoners thrill-ride.
Gnarls Barkley's St. Elsewhere

The instant likability of this record and this wide appeal makes it one that I bump whenever.
A Tribe Called Quest's Midnight Marauders

Cool, slick, feel-good Hip-Hop. The epitome of relaxing music.
