Are you worried for WTT?

Don't move to the Kanye board because I actually want a diversity of opinions.

But yeah I'm seriously worried for WTT now. HAM was ass, and now this Otis is mediocre at best. You know it's true. I don't know why the two biggest names in rap can't make a decent song but unfortunately that's what's happening.

I don't care if this thread has been made before.

Okay but to be fair they put out these singles for us to judge so that's what I'm doing.
Neither HAM or Otis did it for me. But the short documentary made it one of my most anticipated albums of the year. I do however, have my doubts.. mainly because of Jay-Z's recent work!
I can't remember the last time I've witnessed so much hype for an album.
I mean I'm gonna listen to it, but damn.

"DO YOU KNOW THAT WE'RE LIVING IN RAP MUSIC HISTORY!! :rage:"
"How many Grammy's do you think WTT is going to be allowed to get!"

I don't know how there can be so many things to talk about regarding WTT when it isn't even out yet...

Because of the blueprint 3, American Gangster was one his best albums, and he hasn't had a weak guest verse in all of 2010
Otis is the most overrated song of 2011. :work:

HAM wasn't ass though.

True, but still...
:work:
I can't believe Ye stans don't like Otis. It's the kind of production we know and love, and it's two legendary rappers going back and forth, it's a great track. The album itself is gonna feature Frank Ocean twice, plus Q-Tip production.

HAM was the worst track I have ever heard from either artist, the beat was fucking miserable, Lex Luger is a terrible producer. However, HAM won't even be on the actual album...

It's just how I feel about his music past American Gangster really, Jay has always had a firm root and red-thread in his music, but since Blueprint 3, he's totally lost that imo. But I'll give him the benefit of doubt! Also, tbh Kanye has been hit/miss with his work outside of MBDTF but I'm quite confident in his abilities to craft an album, it's just his work outside of his own albums that worries me sometimes.
Why are there such dumb fucking threads these past few days
