was in the gym today i did 4 sets of 100kg dead lifts and i almost hit snap city. when i got home it felt like i snapped some shit up but my back hasn't got ant serious damage. and ideas on how to help stop the pain my back has?

See a doctor and get an MRI if it hurts really bad. Go to the ER if you feel numbness or tingling or if you shit yourself, basically.

Heating pad and pain meds. Also icy hot cream.

Don't apply heat because you apply heat when you want to get ready for an exercice, your muscle gets more blood flow which doesn't help in the healing. You need to apply cold, or better alternate hot and cold. You cant get hot/cold showers (just put it to hot, apply to the place you are injured, wait maybe 1 min, then put cold, repeat like 3 times).
If it really hurts then go see a doctor :/
