Question is, who will shoot it?
Obviously Wally Pfister

He's retired from being a DP and strictly directing now.

Deakins, the dude shooting all digital now, which is the complete opposite of Nolan?

Hmm, true. But maybe Deakins might reconsider if Nolan convinces him? :dno:

I believe Deakins said something along the lines of, "never shooting film again."
This is from before Skyfall, and he even them he seems skeptical about such prospects:

Bruno Delbonnel is actually shooting the Coen Brothers' next film probably because Deakins wanted to shoot it on digital and they wanted film.

My best bet, although a bit left field, would be Mihai Malaimare Jr, who did The Master, as Nolan said, "itís the first photochemically finished film Iíve seen in many years, and it looks the way a movie should look." (http://filmcomment.com/article/cinematic-faith-christopher-nolan-scott-foundas)

I think that Elswit would compliment Nolan's work perfectly.

Gotta give it to TDK for that noir atmosphere.

oh word? I honesty didn't know all that. I knew he was pursuing directing and Nolan was going to produce his debut, but I never knew he was going to stop working as a DP. Very interesting. This will make it interesting to see who Nolan chooses.

Ah! Prestige was incredible too.

TDK is a close second, but Inception amazed me to no ends, and still does. I probably watched it 5 times in theatres. That's a personal record.
