Can anyone recommend me some books to read. To get started. I have been writing stuff. But I would really like to learn everything i can. Like from the basics of film.

This is pretty interesting. Really just goes over the basics, but it's nice seeing all the examples and how they are done differently.

Essentially, I have to select two scenes for analysis.  They should relate to each other and have a significant place in the film. This should be your most in-depth analysis and have a considerable amount of analytical writing regarding your observations.

The two specific scenes I selected are:

And:

(Cont.)

I must mention:
- Background and general information

- Synopsis of the scene

- Shot List

- Description of the sound track elements and their balance; description and evaluation of the sound track (tempo. Rhythm & meter, volume , timbre [distortion, frequency, register], texture [density & liveliness, background/foreground]).

- A summary statement about the sound track in the scene.

As well as pay particular attention to the BALANCE of the soundtrack. The balance of the Dialogue, Music and Sound Effects should effect the narrative in some way - my job is to discover the reasons (intentional or not) why the narrative is effected by the balance of the soundtrack.

WHAT WOULD YOU PERSONALLY MAKE SURE TO MENTION IN THIS ASSIGNMENT??

I had my internship interview today, it was the perfect opportunity to work on a movie, but unfortunately I wont be able to take it because it requires me to drive out to the desert for 1 hour and a half everyday for 2 weeks. Its not paid, and I dont have a personal car, or that type of money to spend on gas, especially living in Los Angeles. =[

I'm truly in a grindhouse/B-movie personal era. All my script's are reflecting that now.
