im more hype than ever after watching that vid a couple of days ago. it doesn't really seem like there's that much hype in general for this game. i really hope it does well, just so the online community won't die out anytime soon.

no hype cause the good old days was on the ps2 but the hype will come when its ready to be shipped

I'm calling it; this is going to be my favourite game of all time.

I went from being fanboy excited, as in, thinking it'll be pretty good but I'll love the **** out of it like it's the greatest thing ever, to actually believing the game will actually be the greatest thing ever.

Holy ****, it's Borderland-esque with gear. Every time you open up the store before you race/whatever, the type of boards/equipment/stuff you can buy is procedurally generated with different stats etc.
