We def need a SSX Tricky remake, with twice the scale, online just like this one and beautiful graphics. Imagine that Girabaldi first drop with stunning graphics, twice as long AND wingsuits? yessssss *lil b voice*

Mt. Eddie, which is a mountain with like 9 drops I think? But it's one giant track split up into smaller drops. And it's very Tricky inspired. Huge air, fireworks, billboards, just general craziness.

And then 6 classic skins for 6 of the characters in the game. So like retro Eddie, retro Elise etc. Them in their old gear.

Haven't played it yet, downloading atm All the response has been great so far though. It's pretty cheap too.

For some perspective, from the top drop with a level 1 character I managed to get 63,774,848 on my first Tricky run, and that was with several bails. It took 7 minutes and 40 seconds to get down it. Insane.

Jumping back in for the new modes. I still like SSX a lot, and I wish I still played it more, it's just the game gives you very little incentive to. It's pretty basic feature-wise, even with these two new modes.

Maybe my biggest problem with SSX, though, is the amount of drops. Waaaay too many. I'd much rather a focused, idk, 40 drops than the 168 there are available. So many great tracks just get lost because of it.

Gameplay-wise it's still the best game I've played this year by quite some distance. And the live remixing stuff with your custom playlist is incredible

So yeah, the new modes are cool (no hud for freeride is great), but I'm really more interested in what they do next with the series. I hope they've learned a lot from this and make a more fulfilling and focused sequel next time around.
