the dark knight may do a better plot and development

but no characters in it will be as well done as the ones in the avengers, each one of them stood out so much and had a distinct personality.

:cmon:

TDK did a better character development than Avengers I'm sure this movie will do the same.

each of the avengers had a movie about them  except for Hawkeye and the Black Widow

tha **** is this

Bane will still develop better than anyone one of them though, that's just what Nolan does with his villains.

yall seem to not understand when i clearly said they will have better characters...i already gave nolan the props for development...but the avengers personalities>>>>

man yall need to not take L's

I see where you are coming from. Each character really did stand out and was a lot of fun to watch them interact with one another. Either way, The Avengers and TDKR will be the two biggest films of the year.

got hyped about batman again after this thread, so I decided to watch TDK again

I never realized how "tight" everything about the film was, down to acting, editing, plot, and character development.

the pacing is immaculate and it continued to amaze me still after 4 years.

took that movie for granted tbh

I get what you're saying. You can't say for sure since the TDKR isn't out yet but I'm gonna be honest, besides the Joker and Alfred, I didn't care about any of the characters in the Dark Knight, none of them, even when Rachel died i was like :seanshrug: With the Avengers though I really was invested into all of the characters, all of them brought something different to the table.

Just remember that scene at the police station between Joker and Batman...
It's ****ing dope ! D:

I forgot how much the Joker is twisted but also very convincing; that scene with Dent in the hospital, you almost want to be like him, destroy the established order and create chaos. Well that's how I felt !

Marion Cotillard Says She's Not Talia al Ghul in The Dark Knight Rises :oblivious:

Despite the many rumors, Marion Cotillard tells The Hollywood Reporter that she does not play Talia al Ghul in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. The interview with the actress reads as follows:

The actress started filming Knight in June 2011, working on and off until the fall in locations including Los Angeles, New York and Pittsburgh. She says there were long gaps when she wasn't needed: "It was a very, very small role."

Otherwise, Cotillard is coy about the picture, whose storyline has fueled pages of Internet speculation. All she'll confirm is that, contrary to some fans' belief, she does not play Talia, the vengeful daughter of Liam Neeson's character, Ra's Al Ghul (who also appeared in Batman Begins), and that she takes the role of Miranda Tate, an ecologically minded businesswoman who "is fascinated by Wayne Enterprises. They go through difficulties, and she wants to help provide the world clean energies. She's a good guy." But does she stay that way? "Yes," she insists.

well cause the avengers was a team of super heroes... so clearly each one has to stand out and have a distinct personality. batman is just batman. the main focus is pretty much him. then they focus on bane and catwoman and azreal  :smug: . for avengers they had to focus on the whole team characters then focus on loki and the rest.
