Btw, what was your submission? Interested to hear

A demon befriends a little girl, but only told from the demons perspective. Can't go into much detail, but blending touching emotional drama and all-out brick-****ting horror is a difficult thing to do. I tried, submitted it to Paramount via two agents. It was rejected almost a week later, like the bastards didn't even read the script! I'm still trying to get it out there, though. Hopefully one day.

That actually sounds pretty ****ing awesome... so kinda like Let the Right One In, only from the opposite perspective? That could be unreal. Keep me updated on how it goes, I'm interested.

PG-13 red flag but the trailer is pretty tight and also Jennifer Lawrence

The Monk looks pretty grim. Definitely gonna see it.

Surprisingly, 'The Cabin in the Woods' has been getting rave reviews from both, the critics and the fans. I was unimpressed with the trailer, but now I'm kind of looking forward to it. The movie's been on my radar since 2009. Nice to see it's finally being released.

despite trying to avoid watching the trailer I ended up seeing it attached to 21 Jump Street, and I have to say it looks like a fun ride.  it's got scares, gore, and Whedon writing so I'm more than there for it.

what the hell, why? It was a refreshingly functioning horror movie, unlike every other in recent memory

Despite a pretty bad third act, I still think its an effectively scary film. And plus, it's more tastefully made than most B-movies.

It's a horror film that didn't scare me or make me jump.
