- Today marks the anniversary of three more wrestling deaths: Shane Bauer, who was Chris Benoit’s early tag team partner Biff Wellington, was found dead five years ago today. Toni Adams passed away two years ago today at the age of 45, while midget wrestling star Cowboy Bradley passed away that same day at 75.

- This weekend marks the five-year anniversary of the Chris Benoit double murder-suicide that occurred over a three-day period ending on June 24, 2007. He murdered his wife and son before hanging himself. Two former WCW stars went on Twitter to remember their late friend.

Perry Saturn: “Another one of those horrible anniversaries. Chris was a great friend and I miss him.”

Scotty Riggs: “Many wrestling fans remember this weekends 5 yr anniversary in their own way, I chose to miss my friends Chris, Nancy & Daniel … All RIP.”

Blue Meanie, who worked with Benoit in ECW and WWE, stated, “Today I reflect on a the 5yr ann. of the most shocking days of my life w/the Chris Benoit double murder/suicide.”

- Ten years ago today, Bret Hart suffered a stroke after hitting his head in a bicycle accident. He briefly suffered paralysis on his left side, which required months of physical therapy. Hart has since recovered much of his mobility and is in good health, although he suffers from an emotional imbalance.

Hart addressed the anniversary on Twitter, writing, “10 years ago today at this very hour, death came calling and returned home empty handed. Thank you God for letting me continue my journey.”

- The late Chris Benoit's theme song is available for purchase via iTunes. "Whatever" was released under WWE's 2002 compilation album Forceable Entry. The song is being sold by Sony, which produced the album, not WWE.

Damn. I'm going to guess in 2006... But which song? Gold Digger?
I believe so. Wasn't it held in Miami that year? I only remember because Shaq came out after the Heat won the championship to present an award and Layla was a cheerleader of the team.

Kenn Doane, who appeared as Kenny of the Spirit Squad and Kenny Dykstra for WWE from 2006 to 2008, blames an affair between John Cena and Mickie James for ruining his relationship with the former Diva and sabotaging his once promising career. He stated on Twitter that he has received nothing but positive feedback from those in the professional wrestling industry, including WWE employees, for speaking out against the Cenation leader online.

"Thanks for tweets from positive to negative Nothing but positive from those in the 'biz' and in the know," he wrote Sunday night. "Alot of text messages saying all positive things. 'Goodjob, thank you, ect' stuff like so. And that's from WWE employees and non employees."

Former WWE star Shad Gaspard agrees with the assessment that Doane's career was ruined due to backstage politics.

He tweeted, "Kenn Doane is a great guy and worker who was held back. Some of the best guys get ****ted on for no good reason."

Doane stated to SEScoops.com that he we wanted to bury the hatchet with Cena at a WWE show last November, but was blown off. He also explained why he's speaking out now.

"When I was there in November I was actually excited to talk with John and I wanted to bury this all. He walked by I put my hand out and said hey you got a minute? He didn't shake my hand and said “for you, absolutely not." So I was like "really OK John, that’s cool," he recalls. "So to all you people that disagree with me bringing this up now it's merely to clear my name of having a bad attitude."

He continues, "Another thing people claim my timing is bad on this and maybe you're right. John is going through a divorce right now and I really wish him and Liz a peaceful divorce. But if anyone of you lost your job, personal life and then got stuck with a bad reputation, you're gonna honestly say you wouldn't do the same thing? Let's get real people.”

- As of now, the working title for WWE's CM Punk DVD set is "Best in the World." The set has been confirmed for Blu-ray release also and will hit stores in October of this year.

- WWE officials are reportedly upset with Randy Orton over recent Twitter comments. Earlier this month, we noted that Orton was asked by a fan on Twitter if he would be returning as a heel because of his suspension. Orton replied, "we can only pray."

Another fan asked Orton why he was suspended. Orton replied:

"When I'm able to tell you, I will. Until then, don't believe everything you read!"

Despite the heat on Orton, sources report that he will still be pushed upon returning because of WWE's roster issues.

- Kharma has been training for her return to action and word is that she's ready but WWE officials aren't sure about how to bring her in. They want to bring her in as a babyface. Officials also want to do a feud with Beth Phoenix but want to build to the match over time and not rush into it.

- FCW Divas Champion Raquel Diaz (Shaul Marie Guerrero) was on the road with WWE SmackDown crew this weekend. She worked as the ring announcer while Lilian Garcia was away doing charity work and Tony Chimel took some time off for a family vacation.

- The speculation continues about Matt Morgan making a return to WWE. After several tweets a few weeks ago, Morgan tweeted that he was in Connecticut this weekend, which is of course the home to WWE headquarters. Morgan tweeted:

"Had a great time on this visit to Connecticut. Conducted some very good business(stay tuned!)& got to see entire family. 2birds,1stone."

- Rey Mysterio's 60 day suspension ends today and he is eligible to return to action. Word this weekend was that Rey won't be returning until next week's TV tapings but he will indeed be pushed upon returning.

- FCW Diva Raquel Diaz (Shaul Marie Guerrero) has officially become the longest-reigning FCW Divas Champion in history. This weekend she passed the record of 189 days, held by current WWE Diva Naomi, who now dances with Brodus Clay.

Diaz defeated Audrey Maria for the FCW Divas Title back in December of 2011. Diaz, who worked this weekend's WWE SmackDown events as ring announcer, wrote the following on Twitter:

"Longest reigning FCW Divas Champion today! Think that's making history?! Wait till you see what I do next;) #LoveIr"

- Vickie Guerrero, who will reign as Interim General Manager on Raw SuperShow and SmackDown this week, tweeted the following: "Ready for my week to have control of Raw and Smackdown.....my office better be ready for occupancy."

- Jerry "The King" Lawler stated on Twitter that he'll be on hand for Tuesday's SmackDown taping in Evansville, Indiana for a match against Michael Cole. It is unclear whether the bout will a dark match or televised since the official website of The Ford Center does not have it advertised.

- WWE.com has published a photo gallery chronicling Ryback's path of destruction.

WWE announced today that a new weekly one-hour series titled “WWE Main Event” will air on Wednesday nights at 8/7 Central on ION Television. The show will debut on October 3, 2012 and will feature WWE Superstars & Divas from both Raw & Smacdown.
