Lol why? It's just OOT just OOT? G.O.A.T game. no launch games (that ive seen) look all that interesting anyways. Why buy the system then have to wait months to get a game for it? |

just OOT?for a few reasons 1. Most important of all: there WILL be shortages pre-orders are selling out quickly. 2. From launch to E3 we will see a number of launch window titles released including some triple A first party titles from nintendo (nintendo seems to be hinting at a mariokart or paper Mario release within this time frame). 3. Well this isn't really a good point but 3D in your hands is an amazing ****ing concept that needs to be experienced ASAP lol. |

Btw lol there's way too many different versions of OOT out there to get me too excited about it for the 3Ds lol

just OOT?Because you can afford it next month, because there are games you want that will be out this year, and because 3DS won't be any cheaper or easier to obtain by the time those games are out... |

this is all coming from the ign page linked in the OP but here are the answers to some long awaited questions about the console namely exactly how the friend code system will work. 3DS questions & answers QUESTION #9 - Can you detail how friend codes will work when you're with friends in the same Wi-Fi area versus when you are separated in different regions? ANSWER - When playing games, friend codes will work the same, regardless of where the players are located. The Nintendo 3DS only requires gamers to enter one code for the hardware; the codes are not software dependent. Once users have traded hardware codes, they can check their friends list to see which of their friends is online, what they are playing, and can jump into online play for compatible games much quicker than today. The only difference will be the ability to exchange codes. Friends who are separated by distance will need to exchange codes once and manually enter them. Friends who are in the same room can automatically swap codes wirelessly, with nothing to enter. QUESTION #15 - Once a friend code has been added or selected, do you see them by their name or nickname? ANSWER - Similar to the way Friend Codes work on Wii, once friend codes are exchanged you see your friend listed by the nickname assigned to their system. QUESTION #16 - Are you able to message your friends in addition to seeing what games they are playing? ANSWER - We do not have anything to announce at this time. |

i'm in 2 minds whether to get this or not on release day, i've always said i would get it straight away but i'm just thinking replace value for myself i'm 18 and i doubt many of my friends will get a 3DS so the friends bit doesn't give me any buzz games....looking at the list i don't know what's good and what's bad, and the list isn't huge, i was expecting zelda/mario on release day to keep me hooked(althought pokemon black/white will defo keep me hooked). is the list final? or are they adding or are they adding more titles for release (I'm from the UK btw) i'm going to uni in september/october, so i will be taking it with me(have to buy two -.- one for my sister and one for me...) i really want to test one out before i buy it, especially as you can't take pictures of the 3D and that you have to experience it so help me pleaseeee

Mario Kart, Zelda, Paper Mario, Kid Icarus should all be out by year end. if you want to get one... get one. |
