Random thought..

But I know everyone's complaining about the creasing in their Jordan 3 retro 2011.. I haven't had a problem w/mine. Then again.. I haven't worn them outside yet.. they've stayed in the box since I got them (snow's melting in Chicago.. waiting on the warmer weather) Worn them a couple times around the house, put some insoles (from my Vans mountain edition) in them and they haven't creased one bit.

So.. insoles.. would prevent these from creasing.. at least in my case. None of my shoes really crease, thanks to insoles.

So you just changed the insoles out with a different shoe's? And you just replace both of them? I was thinking of using insoles for a different reason cause my right foot is smaller than my left (to make up for the size difference).

Also,

What is a good alternative to a shoe tree? I just noticed, the right pair of my 3's isn't as bad as the left pair and that's cause I kept that thing they keep in your shoes when you first buy them. But the problem is, there was only one of them and it was in the right pair. So is there an alternative to a shoe tree that I can keep in my 3's while I keep them in storage?

The insoles on most all my Vans (as well as my Converse Jack Purcells) come out.. and they're probably the nicest insoles I have.. so I just rotate them amongst all my shoes.

I don't take the insoles out of the Js..as they're glued down .. I just simply put the other insoles over them. Makes all my shoes fit a lot better.

As far as shoe trees... I have about a dozen of these from Ikea that I put in my shoes when they're not being worn to retain shape.

They work pretty damn well. For extra measure.. I stuff a sock beneath the top/toe box.

Defogging Air Units

"

One week ago, I saw a youtube video showing you how to defog the air units on sneakers. I was very curious about this, and I must admit that I had my doubts until I tried it out myself. Guess what? It worked perfectly!

The air units on my 99 retro 5s were not possible to see through before I defogged them.

Now they are perfectly clear!

The only thing you need if you want to do this, is a hair dryer.
Just point the hair dryer on the air units, and watch as all the fog goes away.
Sadly, this is just temporary, it may fog up again after a day or a week.

This is not my idea, I saw it on: www.restoremysneakers.com

i use plastic bags in the toe box.. Never had a problem with them and they're free lol. People say wearable shoe trees and force fields are very uncomfortable.. You can also put a heel cup in the toe box

Anyone who wears shoe trees or anything else to prevent creasing during wear is a total retard. That's like trying to keep your **** clean of **** while taking a dump.

I agree. I think if you walk the right way, you'll be good.

no one does it to "prevent" creases (or at least i dont). Just to reduce the apperance of them while you are wearing them

I'm not talking about doing the duck walk instead. Just wear your shoes, they're meant to crease.

lol tbqh I don't think that analogy even make sense. But seriously, I wouldn't give anyone hate for trying to keep their shoes looking new, it's just a tradeoff of appearance and comfort and what the owner values more.

Okay, listen closely. You wear your shoes when you walk, run, etc. Whenever you lift your foot from a step, your shoes crease. It's inevitable. Hence my analogy, you can't **** without getting your **** dirty. **** comes out your ****, **** is dirty, so that means your **** will be dirty. Both these actions involve inevitable results, creases from walking and dirty **** from ****ting. Now do you understand?

I think the best analogy is, if you don't want creases then don't wear them. Plain and simple. It's just like your face you don't want wrinkles then don't show emotion. Keep yo face ds.

Whoa, no need to make it sound so personal ahah. See, the difference here is that people can make a choice to protect their shoes from creasing with a little sacrifice of comfort. What's the equivalent for your ****ting analogy?

Who cares if they're supposed to get all worn and dirty? Some shoes look great in that condition, like Chucks for example. But then there's also shoes that look their best when they're brand new (most Jordans and other fashion shoes). Bottom line is, there's nothing wrong with a guy trying to keep his shoes in the state they look best in, and I'm sure you can agree with that. Ever cleaned your shoes before?

Fair enough, or save up for some better quality shoes that don't look ugly when creased.
