Went to the local mom & pop DVD store and copped The Dark Knight with the slipcase! So happy I finally found it! Had to double dip on this because I only had the Batpod edition and it was annoying because it didn't line up well with my other Blu-rays.

it will if your laptop has a bluray drive.

and imo yes, it's worth it.  plus you can get a bluray player for fairly cheap nowadays.
