The "this is LA Reid" part is so ****ing cheesy!! Really need 2 edit him off the end of the track!! Also that guitar solo on the end of 16 is terrible, and wtf is up with the 20 seconds of nothingness at the end of 911 and also the random talking 4about 2 minutes at the end of 10 Jesus pieces!!?? Definately Ross' worst release since trilla mixtapes included!! He just lacks something with this album!! Seems 2 have a lot less charisma and energy! The things that make Ross unique and interesting seem 2 be missing!! I'm really disappointed tbh!! It's not a bad album! It's just not an enjoyable listening experience like the last few releases he's put out have been!!

Rich forever, Teflon don and deeper then rap>>>>>>>>this!!

It's not the dark cinematic classic he promised!! In fact so far from it it's laughable!! I love Ross but for me its 6.5/10 maximum!!

The thing that bothers me the most is that nobody on the whole album (not even Ross himself) lets loose some crazy flows.

Except for Andre maybe.

Listen to what Jay did to 'Public Service Announcement' for example;

The instrumental isn't even all that, it really isn't, but Hov made it sound like it's the greatest beat ever by using his strong delivery to the fullest.

Ross' best quality is his delivery, so it's a shame that his flow is the same on every song and his voice lacks the presence he showed us on songs like 'Holy Ghost' or 'I Love My ****es'.

Songs that would be much more fitting on an album called 'God Forgives, I Don't'.

Track by track review:

1) Pray For Us - Nice introduction into the album... has that dark cinematic vibe we were expectiong and leads nicely into the first track

2) Pirates - Good start to the album, nice beat and keys... again very cinematic theme... "I guess it aint no nice way to tell you niggas its game over huh?!" it seems we are getting what we expected all along with is album at this point (we all know now this wasnt the case)!! for me this track is one of the highlights of the album, shame its pretty short and has 2 verses
8/10

3) 3 Kings - very underwhelming track!! the beat for the most part is pretty good, all three verses though are subpar!! dre is beyond corny these days (is any1 even anticipating detox any more?!) he just uses this as an advertising oportunity for his headphines!! ross probably spits the best verse (although that doesnt mean it was good). Jay - z then proceeds to "freestyle" (its obviously written though) then he kinda gives an excuse for his **** verse... "you aint gotta keep this khalid its just a freestyle". what makes this track worse though is its position right at the start of the album... ****s up the flow of the album early on!!
6.5/10

4) Ashamed - cool & dre are the stars of the show here though with the dope sample and beat. Ross spits some forgettable lyrics and kinda sounds a bit bored. could have been a dope ass song if ross had spit harder!! still pretty good though.
7.5/10

5) MM IV - Not a bad track... beat is ok but isn't fantastic (usually a huge J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League fan and i expected more for this track) kinda like the way Ross starts the track "Get a blow job, have a seizure on a lear" but there really arent many other quotables in this track! to tell the truth by the end of the track i'm kinda bored... then LA Reid comes in with pretty much the corniest voice i've ever heard... i actually LOL'd at this point!! Ross again sounds bored and uninspired on this track!!
7/10

6) Sixteen - Better beat here byJ.U.S.T.I.C.E. League!! nice build up into the track... Ross sounds a  bit more charismatic here, bit more of the luxuary track we are more used 2 hearing from ross!! I'm not a huge 3k fan but tbh i kinda kills this, i cant front! my only complains are the fact the track seems overly long and also the wack ass guitar solo!! i feel this is over rated a bit by people on KTT, its a good track... not a classic though!!
8/10

7) Amsterdam - Maybe the track of the album (excluding the bonus tracks) i feel this is 1of the only tracks with that dark cinematic feel he talked about!! again ross displays the chirisma he's become famous for and sounds like he actually wants 2be rapping on this 1!! kind of a haunting feel to the beat with the sample. very nice track
8.5/10

8) Hold me back - A blatent attempt at re-creating MC hammer/BMF with a rip off Lex Luger beat!! I actually like opening line "I look in my fridge my **** looking scarce" thats about it though!! the beat is meh... the hook is 1of the worst i've ever heard from any1 ever!! i rate it higher than i would have though because of the energy the track has (something thats lacking in most of the other tracks)
6/10

9) 911 - If hold me back was MC hammer, this is BMF!! its a better track than the previous one... but not much better!! another hype track though which as i said, at this point is needed!! the chorus kinda sounds like hes trying 2fit a bit much in when he says "on a highway 2 heaven" just seems 2not fit very well
7/10

10) So Sophisticated - Probably the best of the 3 "trap" joints!! again displays energy and charisma... i didnt really appreciate this track when it first leaked but in comparisson to the rest of the album its pretty good
7/10

11) Presidential - This is the point things go from bad 2 worse... this track is soooooo annoying!! cant really hear the lyrics with Elijah Blake in the background all through the entire song (verses and all) i think without the constant dah da dah da the track may be bareable but as it is i just wanna throw my headphones accross the room!!
5/10

12) Ice cold - another annoying beat... the best beat picker in the game isn't really living up2 his reputation with this album!! Omarion does ok on the hook although its largely forgetable!! another filler track which doesnt fit the supposed theme of the album at all!!
6/10

13) Touchin you - I didnt like this track when it leaked and i still dont!! kind of an attempt at "**** you tonight" off life after death album but no where near as good!! just a blatent attempt at a cross over hit!! the beat is ok... much better than the last 2 tracks. again though another track that doesnt fit the theme of the album. Middle section 2the album had been 3trap songs followed by 3rnb tracks... kinda getting a bit generic at this point and the last 6tracks seem kinda forced and not in keeping with the title or "theme" of the album at all!!
6.5/10

14) Diced Pineapples - another good track which i feel is over rated on here... sure without WAle it would be a very good track... drake kills the chorus and Ross sounds a bit more inspired than he has on most of the album.... but the fact is wale's wack ass is all over this track and it ****s it up!!
7/10

15) Ten Jesus Pieces - Another highlight of the album, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League again come through with the beat!! definatly the best beats of the album!! Stalley does his thing also on this track!! I definately **** with this!!
8/10

16) Triple Beam Dreams - Best track on the album hands down... beat sounds even better... ross and nas kill it (verse of the album... Sorry 3k)!! nothing else 2 say!!
9/10

17) Rich forever - another highlight of the album that every1 is familiar with
8.5/10

Overview:
Really not what i was expecting when i first heard about the album and its theme!! really doesnt stick 2the theme of the album at all!! the dre track ****s up the flow of the first (and best) part of the album and detracts from the stronger tracks which are at the start! From "hold me back" to "Touch n You" it feels a bit forced like def jam said... right i want 3 trap joints and 3 rnb tracks... and ross was like "here u go!!" it picks up again at the end, and actually the 2 best tracks are the last 2... but when these are old tracks from his previous mixtape its not exactly great!! if i do the math it gets 7/10, however due to the lack of flow (bad sequencing) and the fact that he really doesnt stick to the theme it actually rank it slightly lower...

6.5/10

Top 4 tracks:
Triple Beam Dreams
Rich Forever
Amsterdam
Pirates

Bottom 4 tracks:
Presidential
Ice Cold
Hold Me Back
Touch N You
IceMan

I been saying, this is probably exactly what was up during the final months of recording / promoting the album.

This was supposed to be his 'King'

his 'The Inspiration'

his 'Tha Carter II'.

And everybody is going to believe that it really is because of the heavy promotion and praise it is getting from ****riders.

I'm mad.
