I thought the 100th episode was alright. "Community" did it better with those flashbacks tbh. Though, I loved the Tom Hanks cameo at the end.

Lorne Michaels Sees More ’30 Rock’ With Or Without Alec Baldwin
![]() Lorne Michaels was on the Television Critics Association panel for the new NBC comedy Up All Night. After the panel when the press gaggled around him, he spoke about his thoughts and hopes for 30 Rock. With contracts coming up at the end of season six, and stars like Alec Baldwin threatening retirement, Michaels still sees 30 rockin’ along. “Listen, you can’t imagine doing the show without Alec but I couldn’t imagine doing the show without Chevy either and we’re still on the air,” Michaels said, invoking Chase’s departure from SNL. “I would hope that we would never have to go on without him but we’re going to keep doing the show.” Tina Fey is at home this summer expecting a baby. Then she’s ready to go back to work too. “Right now she’s having a baby but I know that she’s completely committed to the show, as are a lot of people who work there. Alec is a huge part of it. It’s a great group. I think it still has a lot of vitality and life in it. We’re all pretty much determined to keep it going, and I’m hopeful.” Michaels also spoke out about 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan’s controversial anti-gay rant and how it might affect his return to the show. “We haven’t started yet but obviously everyone has been talking. I think he totally regretted it, he apologized for it. I think it was a thoughtless thing to say but it was the middle of a concert and he was trying to be provocative I think. It just blew up and I think he confronted it and dealt with it. I know what kind of man he is and he’s not a hateful person in any way, shape or form. What he said was stupid and there’s no justification for it, I’m just saying I don’t think it came from any real thought really.” The subsequent Tracy Morgan controversy, about a routine on the mentally challenged, made less waves. “I think that’s from his act from 15 years ago. It was in his HBO special. When you scrutinize anybody’s comedy, it’s not the criteria you should really judge it by. He’s not being taught in schools.” Source |

Will Alec Baldwin Continue on 30 Rock, But in Fewer Episodes?
Alec Baldwin has long said that he'll leave 30 Rock after his contract is up this season, and he even once told us that the show itself would end after the sixth season, too. Now maybe both are negotiable: In a New York Times profile of Baldwin's political ambitions, the actor says he won't run for mayor of New York City in 2013 because of his full-time commitment to 30 Rock's current season, but past that, writer Sarah Maslin Nir notes that Baldwin will also "appear occasionally in future episodes" while he's enrolled in a master's program in politics and government. Since Lorne Michaels recently said that 30 Rock will continue into a seventh season with or without Baldwin, should we infer that Baldwin is still willing to work on the show, but at a radically reduced rate? Tina Fey, lock that down! Source |

B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B BUMP I just re-watched the season 5 finale and it was hilarious of course. I'm really wondering where they are going to go with the Kenneth storyline? It was a great cliffhanger since it came out of nowhere! Is Avery Jessup/Elizabeth Banks going to return? |

Is Avery Jessup/Elizabeth Banks going to return? There's always a possibility that they'll bring her back. Quote Is there any chance that Avery could come back next year or is this wrapping it up for her? |

30 Rock Scoop: Will Arnett to Return as Devon Banks
Even though Will Arnett stars in one NBC comedy and will take part in the recently announced Arrested Development reunion, that's not stopping him from setting his sights on taking down Jack Donaghy. Arnett will return to 30 Rock as gay shark and Jack's nemesis, Devon Banks, TVGuide.com has learned. A date for Arnett's return has not yet been set, but the Arrested alum previously told us he'd love to see Banks get back on top after becoming a house husband with a gaggle of children. Source |
