Just because some overzealous fan saw a second-meaning behind the lyrics doesn't mean 2 Chainz intended it to be that way

Maybe a poor choice of words, but I can absolutely guarantee that he didn't intend for that line at all, which is a huge qualm I have with RapGenius...not to mention the fact that the 12 Apostles weren't prophets of Christianity

The One, 2 Chainz

Break bread with my niggas, call it profit share.

Could be profit as in make money. Or could be prophet as in breaking bread as the 12 disciples did.

Your own analogy doesn't even make sense. I'm not arguing this btw, that's pure fact.

prophets predict the future. they're seers. contacted by the super natural. Nostradamus for example.
Jesus didn't predict anything. I'm Christian btw.

Jesus was a Prophet. I learned this in CCD, then again in HS, and once again in college.

"'Sir,' the woman said, 'I can see that you are a prophet'" (John 4:19). This woman embraced the idea that Jesus' power to "see" was due to the fact that He was a prophet. Jesus had told her things that she realized He couldn't have known.

But what does the Bible have to say about Jesus Christ as a prophet? The role of the prophet in the Old Testament was to foretell the future and the truths about God. Jesus, of course, did both of these things. He foretold the future when He spoke of the destruction of Jerusalem

Im Christian too. Not that has any relevance here whatsoever.
