btw finally. i thought this was supposed to be released every year.... makes a trilogy of mini albums kinda seem sparse if they come out like every 3 years

If he wants to release the album this summer, he needs to drop the single soon. Yeah, hopefully we'll get a single by the end of the month. If not, then this album won't come out til late summer.

 Maxwell will be taping VH-1 Storytellers, in a few weeks. It promises to be an amazing night. VH1 Storytellers is a VH1 original series in which a singer/songwriter performs and tells stories in front of an intimate audience about their life in the industry, writing lyrics, playing with other musicians and their career. Maxwell will also be performing a new single from his upcoming CD, 'blackSUMMERS'night', the 2nd CD in the trilogy. Source 1, 2 & 3  The rumour, on various Maxwell's fan forums, is that new album is set to drop on July 7th. Nothing is confirmed though. Maxwell, also started to share some new song lyrics on his twitter account. Are those lyrics from a possible new single? Maybe.
