Props to this. Blu is a great rapper, love him. Below the Heavens I think is definitely his best album, mostly due to Exile's production. I haven't checked out much else by him, could you recommend anything with dope production?

Definitely HerFavoriteColo(u)r, he did most of it himself if i'm not mistaken and it is chill jazzy type stuff with some sick samples. One of my favorites. The only problem with a lot of his stuff is he doesnt take the time to master it so there will be low quality (GodleeBarnes LP) but if you can get by that its amazing.

Thank you for this. I only had Herfavoritevolour and Below The Heavens. Blu is definetely going to be the future of real hip hop along with Jay E. I feel as though he is often overlooked by many on this board (I myself am guilty of this) but when he is brought into discussion many people are in agreement that he is fantastic. I can't wait to hear NoYork, and the future is very bright for this artist.

Why is Below the Heavens considered to be a collab album between Blu and Exile but Boy Meets World is considered Fashawn's solo debut? They were both produced entirely by Exile so what is the difference? :dno:
