The way lupe is talking in the interviews, I don't think he expects it to do as well as Lasers. Do yall expect this album to go under the radar? He seems like he's on the path to transition from mainstream to underground/Indie. I've never put lupe in that category with rappers like mos def, canibus, talib Kweli, Saigon, etc. Even though I respect them, I've always thought lupe belonged in the same bracket as Jay, Kanye, nas, Eminem, etc. As a fan I hope he stays major and goes somewhere that would better suit him and give him that balance where he can be him and have mainstream success.

Yep and before that it was "the superstar guy" and before that it was "the kick push guy". How can people know Jay and Ye but not know Lu when they on each other songs and in photos & videos together. Unless you are a mainstream listening phaggot. But even then thats kinda odd.

Lasers blew Lupe up to the mainstream, it should sell pretty well. I thought that was the whole conspiracy plan. Make Lupe write a pop album to broaden his appeal, then let Lupe drop a classic album to this now bigger fan base.
