It blends in like four or five different genres... hip-hop being one of them. Others from the top of my head are pop, electronica, R&B. So yeah, unless you call created a new genre for it, then it can be especially considered either a pop, alternative, and (yes) hip-hop album.

Again, many other artists follow in it's footsteps: The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, Drake, and Kid Cudi to name a few. And all these artists are stretching the boundaries of hip-hop and what it can be.

"Amazing" is very hip-hop. "Love Lockdown" is also another highly hip-hop-influenced song.

But okay. Let's even say it's not hip-hop, but are you genuinely telling me that you can't see it's influence right now? And who the **** says something has to be hip-hop to be a classic. Kid A is a classic; Led Zeppelin has classics; Nevermind is a classic. What makes you think that it isn't a classic because it doesn't stick in boundaries? Kid A never stuck in just a one or even two genres, but, again, it is a definite classic. It doesn't have to be pure hip-hop to be regarded as a classic. Besides, it's the albums that break barriers that are ones usually adorned classic status.

Idk I  love this album but for me Amazing doesn't really fit the album  and should of just been a bonus track like see me now. In my opinion Amazing is one of Kanye's worst songs and as much I despise Drakes Character Take Care is better (lets be clear I hate Amazing but I love See me Now)
