40+ touchdowns, 5,000 yards in his first full season? I don't think there's any reason for us not to think he'll be a top-rated QB in the near future tbh. Definitely the future of the League for years and years to come now that his shoulder seems to be working fine Detroit is in for the ride of their lives if their defensive players can get their attitudes in check

Teams like that usually don't show dramatic change in their offensive philosophies (see: Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints, New England Patriots). Either way, we've seen Matt Stafford and we've seen that his ceiling is far and away better than any QB's in the League right now. Even Cam Newton and Andrew Luck and that's a serious comparison. I expect him to reach 5,000 yards by maybe even Week 14. Look what he did with Calvin Johnson. He can only improve on that. The Detroit run game will be strictly supplemental.
