You're free to follow the will that emanates from your personality, genes and inner and outer environment following the laws of physics that binds everything in the universe to logical cause and effect. Call it free will or not, everyone has their version of what free will means. Just know that your actions, like everything in the universe, obey the laws of nature.

if you believe in god and believe that he is all powerful and all knowing, then that means he knows the future, which in turn means he knows the fate of everything that ever will happen, the implications of this is that free will doesnt exist. this makes your whole religion void since its all based on the idea of free will and heaven or hell, even though god knew your fate before he even made you, so if he sent you to hell that would make him malevolent

i dont mean god in a religious sense i was referring to who and whatever made us.  i assume your athiest or agnostic and in that case there is no point in arguing with either of these ignorant stubborn kinds of people.  open your ****ing eyes you non believer.  this **** is mad real.

i never said i was a religious person all i said was that god whoever or whatever made us.  idk for sure thats just my belief.  i dont go to church or pratice christian idealogy at all what are your beliefs.

Just because you think you're making a decision doesn't prove free will exists. The decision was made because it was hard pressed into his mind years ago that smoking is "bad" and dopamine releases in your brain creating the "happy" feeling because you did something "good".

But what do I know, I'm just a simple caveman. I was dumb enough to learn in school instead of being smarter than the system by not learning.
