I have the HP dv4 i3 dual core 2. something ghz. Works like a charm, I do some coding on it and it's really responsive. That 6 gigs of ram is really useful so get the upgrade to the ram. Should work good for games, but sometimes the fan can be a **** because it can get pretty loud if you're like me and run a ****load of apps.

Keep an eye out on slickdeals.net. You'll get a much better computer for like $200 less if you wait a week or so.
