I am new to android and want to buy the Nexus 7, but can I still download apps to my computer and save them onto the 8GB internal memory on the N7? 8 GB is plenty for me (I know it's only really 5-6 gb, after its all said and done) but I would like to download tv shows and a few apps on my computer and just load them onto the device.
Aka, I want to pirate apps. Will this be possible.

Yes, pirating apps is easy. Just download the apk file and install it on the tablet.

The games I tried were Final Fantasy 3, Sonic episode 2, and The Amazing Spiderman.
I did get HD widgets to install and work properly though.

Yes, pirating apps is easy. Just download the apk file and install it on the tablet.

Android 4.1 (preinstalled on the Nexus 7) has it where it encypts each app downloaded now. So piracy might be a little more difficult now. But time will tell. As of right now though, it's easy as **** to pirate an app like Boss Playa said.
