One of my dads high school friends has a son thats going to a college in my city next year. He had orientation a few days ago & so he stayed at my crib. So Im his host and **** so Im supposed to like take him out with me and ****. He really wanted to go a party, but I didn't want to take him because he's really corny/ kind of weird. But my friend showed up & convinced me to go..

so at this party this dude is like blowing up everyones spot. At first its funny, he's just trying way too hard to get it in, & his game is whack as ****. But he just keeps going super hard.. talking to every at every girl at the party. By the end of the party some girls are saying that he made them feel really uncomfortable. & at this point he's just pacing around the room back & forth while were passing joints &  ****. super sketch.

Anyway the next day I find out from my dad that he has no friends at his high school.. & he's been talking like he has friends & **** to me..
 
but like he's gonna be back in fall for college & that **** is gonna be a disaster obviously for him.. Im worried that he's gonna lean on me & **** cause he thinks were cool.

Im slightly worried about whats to come of this situation.. idk does this seem like it could be bad or am I just tweaking

But on the real doe, tell ur dad u showed him around the city and he can hit u up the first week or so when he's got a question. Just make clear youre not gonna hang out with him, he cant force u to tbh. Your dad's cool with his dad, but he should be mature enough to realize that this doesnt necessarily mean youre gonna be homeboys too imo.

Hopefully he'll act in College like he did at that party and meet new people so he doesn't have to lean on you

this kid has no self awareness though. thats the problem.

but this **** will probably be straight.. I don't think he's legitimately sketch or anything, just kind of autistic & a bit delusional. He's one of those dudes that lives in his own world. that sounds kind of bad actually lol. Im gonna have to handle this carefully.

how do u separate the weird/misunderstood ones from the sketch ones.. thats what it comes down to. He seems harmless for now.. but his perception of the world/ himself is pretty skewed. Im worried it will get even more skewed once he goes to college & doesn't fit in (which is what will happen unfortunately).

I was hangin out with this weird kid for a while cus our parents were friends and i felt kinda sorry for him as he literally had not a single friend. Dude was ****in annoying to say the least and thought he was the smartest, richest, best lookin person walking on the planet (he sat all day sittin in front of his computer playing guild wars n **** lmao). All of my friends didnt wanna chill with him ad i could understand them tbh.    In the end, i just cut ties with him cus i only wasted time as he became an ungrateful **** smh. It all worked out with his dad and me, his dad is still mad at me a little cause that dude started talkin **** but idgaf so
