All in all, San Andreas is probably my personal GOAT. The maps were insaneeeee bruh.

IDK about Mario, I think it's all nostalgia and branding. If you put a different skin on the game it'd be just another platformer. Sure the games are solid but like I said, it's ubiquitous because everybody knows Mario not because of the gameplay. Not saying the games are bad, some are REAL fun and it wouldn't have come so far if it was **** but not GOAT. And oblivion was A LOT more fun than Skyrim but that wasn't GOAT either. I love San Andreas, probs my favorite game but damn, some of the gameplay is annoying (controls, camera). I think San Andreas with the Max Payne 3 engine could be GOAT.
