I think it's inevitable that they perform a new song at the awards. if the album drops August 7 then July HAS to be dedicated to promotion. the awards take place July 1. they can perform the song Sunday and drop it on iTunes Monday night and have people forgetting about Self Made 2.

Anything Kanye does has buzz. He isn't in the position of an artist who needs to drop the album when the single is hot.

The song never made #1 on iTunes. They highest it got was #5 a few months ago, and now currently it's #14.

Seriously, does anybody know if they're going to send Mercy for adds at mainstream/top 40 radio? If they do, it'll go top 10 easily on the Hot 100, but otherwize it'll struggle. Urban radio isn't that helpful really, since it gets a smaller audience, not to mention, the people that listen to urban don't legally download as much as the pop listeners.

All good points and I doubt it's going to get sent for adds... It's not that type of single... Once it goes platinum in the next 2 weeks, it's getting zero push after that! It's going to be off to the next single which is most likely going to be more radio "All Of The Lights" friendly to target a different demographic!
