Like if this is about him being "soft" its not even a viable argument, hip hop has changed now, music in general has changed now since the world's become more accepting of things. Rapping about different stuff, actually no, REAL stuff that many many more people can relate to in comparison with drug/gun/money talk is a terrible reason to start beef.
