He will definitely put up more superior stats than Kobe when it's all said and done and winning 3 finals mvp compared to two with Kobe will eventually put him higher than Kobe on the all time list. I see Lebron being the 5th GOAT player behind Russell, Jordan, Kareem, and Magic.

I'm not saying anything about you or anything, but Kobe wasn't mentioned at all in the thread and yet an explicit comparison was made to him in terms of a benchmark for how many rings LeBron should retire with. Again, nothing against you or your post since I understand comparisons will come, but first, shouldn't LeBron build a legacy? The comparisons are inevitable, and they will come, but for questions like the thread title, let him build his legacy, and then compare that to others. His career can't just be one huge comparison to another's. Otherwise, it's meaningless. |
