i really don't understand what most of your post  had to do with this argument. yeah, LeBron isn't always going to be a athletic beast, but what relevancy does that have when your comparing LeBron to Kobe right now?

Because they are incomparable right now. I said let's see how great LeBron will continue to be when he has to change his game like Kobe + all the greats did.

Of course LeBron is better right now, but if he's better overall will be questioned by his longevity. Kobe is still #1 at his position 16 years into it. LeBron is 9 years into it. Can he still be #1 in the next 5-7 years?

i have no reason to believe he won't continue to be great for the next 5-7 years since he's already accepted the challenge of adding another dimension to his game.

off topic but Kobe being the number 1 is debatable. Wade's arguably the better player between the two at this point in their careers. whether or not you agree with me, you can't deny that the NBA is lacking at the SG position and has been lacking for a while.

Agreed. Lebron and Jordan can't really be compared at all right now, not even close. Kobe and Jordan on the other hand have so much in common in terms of how they've played and their careers its ridiculous. Of course being able to be compared to Jordan, and being put on the same pedestal as him are two different things.

If we talkin rings Bill Russell da GOAT. He even won a ring as a player-coach. Who does that?

these arguments are useless. it just makes people emotional and angry, i hate that we always have to compare. enjoy these two cause at the end of the day they're one of the greatest to ever have done it. we should be honored to watch them play, we'll be talking to our kids about these two and how they used to do work.
