tbh that's not really an excuse for LeBron when he loses so I can't use it here... and he didn't perform well in the fourth quarter at all, and even though they were down by like, 20, they probably wouldn't have been if Durant was more impactful throughout the game.
its not on him
he did his part 32 and 11
his team mates around him didnt show up
WestBRICK went 4-20 from the field
worst finals performance ive seen
How many points did Lebron have last year when the Mavs closed out

why would i even consider feeling bad for a team w/ 3 top 15 players who lost a nba finals?

You don't have to feel bad for anyone. I just think it's interesting that you were laughing at these players and calling them ****es for showing emotion after losing something they've worked their entire lives for, but this year y'all are sympathetic.

well after they put that team together, i love to see the heat fail, even d wade has turned into someone I dislike if you check out all the **** he's pulled in the last 2 years

and everyone laughs at **** bosh has been doing, im pretty sure theres been 10x as many memorable bosh gifs as there are actual key plays he's made that you can remember, he's a joke, something you laugh at, the way he does **** whether intentionally or unintentionally is funny, so of course we were gonna laugh at him crying after the finals

durant is not someone we always laugh and make fun of, we dont associate him w/ that, he's honestly that player in the NBA that alot of fans in general root for and wish him success b/c he's a good, humble kid

In the end, it's just a lack of respect of the game, and the athletes, and a misconception of what makes this game great. People just don't understand what it's like to be an athlete. People don't understand what it's like to be that close and to lose it all. But I'm glad people will no longer be blind to what basketball is and why we love basketball anymore. It'll be great to enjoy the sport for the sport again, and the League will be better because of it.

Think of it this way, he worked very hard and just came short of achieving his dream, in any context an emotional person would tear up.

He played very well throughout the year and in the playoffs, he will get one soon .

you kidding me? i definitely know what it feels like, but my  soccer and baseball teams didn't have the best players in the league then.  and the losing team has people that cry every year so i dont get what enjoy the sport for the sport again means.  all im saying is durant, w/ that young team will definitely be back, they did pretty good for going against the miami heat/refs in what essentially was a 3 game series in miami, good for lebron and his great playoff averages, but tbh, now he's only just began the chase to even come close to kobe bryant, and espn comparing him to MJ is just ultimate disrespect

Either way guys my opinion on crying in sports is my opinion and all of the arguing in the world isn't going to change it. It seems as if perspective is left out when some of you guys are rebutting my points. Sports is what it is, just a game and a minuscule microcosm of real life. Crying is not really needed in sports because life is certainly harder and requires more effort to achieve in.

Sports are only games to those who don't take it seriously.

Why can't someone be sad about losing in the biggest game of their life? Especially when they dedicate their entire life to it? You are making it seem like because he shed a couple tears for this, like he has no perspective on what's actually important and he would be unaffected if a family member died.

I like KD but it was pretty satisfying seeing him not come through for his team, especially in the clutch the last three games, since a lot of people spent their whole year raving about how KD was the new king, how he was clutch when LeBron wasn't, how he could take over games like no one else in the League could ever hope to do.

Satisfying end, if I do say so myself.

Last 3 games..................

How many points did he have in the fourth quarter of game 2? And then that obvious no call. Game 3, 2-6 in the fourth. Game 4 was Westbrooks time, and if an individual can't see that he was the only one on his team playing with a heightened sense of urgency, and the only one keeping his team competitive until the Heat pulled away in game 5, then idk what to say to them. But if you don't think Kevin Durant is clutch, well then you probably haven't watched many OKC games.

He had like 8 combined points. In the fourth quarters of games 3 and 4, and it doesn't matter at all how many points he had in the fourth quarter of Game 5.

Game 4 was Westbrook's time because Durant wasn't into it. He wasn't playing well, or at least to the level he needed that, and so Westbrook, like a point guard and great player should, recognized that and put it on himself to keep the team in the game. Lots of kudos to Westbrook on that one, but it's pretty alarming that he's having games like that but Durant isn't.

Nope. Sure haven't. But I saw him in the Finals. I'm not impressed.
