What if Lu did end it all? Would he be in the talks of greatest ever (in everyone's conversation, not just ours)? I know Biggie only released 2 albums as well and he's up there. What kind of legacy would he have left? No matter what you say about Lasers, it held him back. When you argue for Lupe, someone will always bring up Lasers. I know before Lasers there was tons of conversation about Lupe possibly being one the greatest ever. I think if he did *leave, it would have kept people wondering and with two solid albums like the cool and food & liquor, and the his stellar mixtapes, he might have been considered the greatest.

I mean up to that point, his career was SOLID. Then Lasers happened, then Friend Of The People happened and now this stupid Sound Clash thing. I still dig that stuff but these things leave him out of the conversation of hip hop listeners.

He was at an all time high after The Cool and I don't think he can get there again. Partly because he has matured as an artist and wants to experiment with other things rather than just hip hop... and it makes me sad.

(I'm worldly thankful he didn't or we would never hear the greatness that will be F&L2:TGARA)
