I rly like dreads on guys.
But think carefully, OP. You rid yourself of any versatility once you get dreads. You won't ever be able to "go for the smart look today" or "the preppy look" any other look, apart from the boho/dreads look. You're stuck w/ them and they're very noticeable.

Truth, i mean i wouldn't really do it if my hair grew slow. i could get a buzz cut in January and have shoulder length hair by mid August.

those are most likely back combed dreads then they prob crochet them to get those lose hairs incorporated inside the dread.  Its a lot of work bro.  Im black so my hair loc'd up fast it will be a hell of a journey for you tbh.

naw you can comb them out all u need is a **** ton of conditioner and a **** load of patience lol
