of tragedies & calamities
are reflections of blatancy
& the means of which we wait & see
the likes of which we have never seen
engulfed in flames of thrones albeit a Queen
for a King determines a King’s purpose
the year passes, the devil dances, the being chances
the fear vanish, the rebel banish, the fleeing panic
 to nonchalance in hopes of renaissance
visions of recognition betray the wisdom
we are all subjected to
i think the honesty is lost in the odyssey
otherwise known as the great possibility
that we can love & hate
that we can smile & cry
that we can live & die
that we can slip inside
a world of euphoria
a pearl of glory, a
remnant of glories
or pendant of stories
aforementioned worries
however, nor these
could justify the truth of mortality
& save the question of “what happened to me?”
for as we grow older there is more casualty
the King recognizes this all too casually
