Thing is insanely massive in person. I had to actually get a custom case that could house it, and I just re-built my entire PC from the ground up.

While the game itself isn't that great looking (not Battlefiled 3 level of graphics) - what's impressive is the draw distance and the size of the map (without any buffer or loading). That's why people are acting all impressed.

And yeah, the model graphics card I have above is great because those fans keep it really cool. I stopped buying the main name brand graphics cards (like Evga) because the designs are often flawed. Gigabyte and Galaxy are 100% the same exact card/chip they just have better builds.

This is probably the best one on the market now (people debate this). I was thinking of upgrading, but the GTX 780 will be out in a year, and it supposedly doubles the performance. So no point upgrading. Plus, the GTX 580 (I have now) maxes out all games with 60 FPS. So it kind of seems pointless to upgrade.

1000 watt power supply

All in all, probably have $1,000 into it. But that was over a year + of swapping parts out (and paying for things as I went along). That's actually a steal, considering it's 10x more powerful than any mac product (new Macbook Pro for instance is $2,100 + lol)

I think I would, I played the demo and I legit sucked at the game though.
