"Classic" video games that haven't aged well by todays standards

Thought this would be an interesting topic and I'm interested to see peoples answers:

Have you ever revisited a game you considered classic, and after playing it thought to yourself that the gameplay mechanics of the game were so outdated by today's standards that it affected the enjoyment you get and originally got from the game? In short, what classic games do you think haven't aged well?

I'll start:

The Legacy of Kain series. Had some dope ass stories, but the gameplay was even generic for it's time, and doesn't hold up too well today.

Some of the earlier 3D fighting titles such as Tekken 1-2, Virtua Fighter, Soul Calibur 1, etc. just felt awkward as hell to play. I kinda expected this.

Crash 1. Poor controls and it's sequels simply did everything better. No reason to play it.

Goldeneye was the biggest offense of this. Just felt clunky and unrewarding.

Street Fighter 2 (and all of it's versions)

I can't think of any more right now but I'll definitely think of some.

Never played Pikmin before, after seeing it at E3 I wanted to play it.

****'s amazing, I've been playing for ages and I'm not bored at all.

Would recommend to anyone.

Yeah, even as a kid I always thought Jak 2 and Jak 3 were trying to do too much tbh. I'm sure Jak 1 is still fun though.

Sly Cooper 1 aged pretty horribly too. Not sure about the sequels.

Crash 1 can't be a classic because its sequels were so much, entirely better than it that in the end, the only reason it's notable is because it's the first game in the series.

the reason crash aged badly is because it doesnt have analog support...its too hard to time the jump with the d pad
