CD : i remember buying it because my cousin told me kanye west was a good rapper. Loved Jesus walks and would play it in the car with my mom, even she liked it.

LR : Got this album for my birthday and always played it on my cd player. i would walk around the house with my cd player and headphones in rapping gold digger and touch the sky.

Grad : first album i ever bought the second it came out. loved can't tell me nothing and flashing lights.

808s : i remember listening to this late at night, watching the snow fall.

MBDTF : I remember being so hyped for this album. listening to it over and over again, memorizing every bar. still my favorite album ever.

WTT : i remember the watch the throne tour, and being inspired to be the very best i can be.

All I can remember, humming Heartless on the way to scrap a kid.

You work at McDonalds.
Is that really any better than wasting your time behind a computer screen being a total chode and calling someone out for working at a fast food joint?

CD: I was in like 5th grade, I remember my friends and I used to bump Slow Jamz a lot.  I also remember watching the Through the Wire video on MTV in the morning before school, All Falls Down on TRL.  After all of this I went to the library and rented the CD then burnt my own copy.

LR: I remember I was in like 8th grade when this came out. I used to sneak on to iTunes in class to listen to the album previews before I got it, I probably listened to the "Heard 'Em Say" preview like 100 times.  I also remember the Gold Digger and Touch the Sky videos being on TV.

Grad: This was my sophmore year in high school. I had kind of lost interest in Ye at this point but I remember bumping "Can't Tell Me Nothin'" on the bus on the way to school.  I also loved Good Life since it was all over the radio and TV and stuff.  i didnt really get into the album as a whole until about a year later though.

808s: This album came out during my "hotnewhiphop" days way before KTT.  At this point I would check this site out everyday to get new music and they would always have all of the leaks on there. I downloaded all of them instantly.  Heartless was the first song I played off the speakers when I got my 2nd Gen iPod Touch :allears: and I also remember listening to Street Lights on the bus on the way home :cryfam:

GOOD Fridays/MBDTF: I wasn't really into Power when it first came out.  During the summer I found KTT cause of all the Lupe/Lasers hype and the petition and protest stuff so I was around when Ye premiered See Me Now on the radio, I also really liked Runaway Love.  At this point is when I really began to stan Kanye. GOOD Fridays were amazing, I remember looking forward to every friday for a new song to came out :allears: . I also remember watching the VMAs and watching Kanye perform Runaway and hating it at first.  Runaway was ****ing dope.  I downloaded the initial leak of MBDTF and loved it instantly. I ended up buying the album on Black Friday. All of this happened during my freshman year of college and it was kind of a rough year, but the music will always bring back good memories from that time.

WTT: Having kept up with GOOD Fridays and having heard Power(Remix) and The Joy when WTT was announced my hype was off the charts.  When HAM first came out i instantly bought it off itunes, and even though it took a while I eventually grew to love it.  I hated the lack of news between HAM and the actual album itself though.  Otis blew my mind when I first heard it.  During the 4th of July I remember chillin with my friends but being really anxious to go home and check KTT to see if anything had dropped.  When the album dropped I immediately bought a hard copy, and was pretty much the only thing I listened to in my car besides Section.80 last summer/fall.  I was really disappointed when tour dates were initially announced for Colorado but then the modified dates came out and they were not touring Colorado anymore.

Typing this out made me realize how much influence Kanye has had for me throughout my life.

Good usage of the word 'Chode.'

You don't see it enough these days.
