It's nothing about rape. Just saying that if a wife marries a man and she is not a virgin, the parents must prove she is a virgin. If not, then she would be put to to death. Something like that.

The Old Testament is a bunch of stories and accounts written by different people. This is not God or anyone 'teaching'. I'm pretty sure it is the law at the time.
